20 recent beauty product empties: winners or fails?

Holy cannoli! I've used up so many beauty products recently! I think Corona makes me take better care of myself! Lots of hot baths and pampering over here y'all! So, let's see if these empties make me want to buy them again or not!

My Skin Care empties:

I had a couple of blemishes and maskne going on (on my chin) if you know what I mean 😷 and for that this stuff really works. However, I cannot recommend it, if you have sensitive skin. It is strong y'all! Around my eyes it is definitely too strong and can sting.

It contains Alcohol defat. - a questionable ingredient that might be drying out your skin and more. I still say this is good as a temporary solution- just to quickly clear the skin. Not as a daily toner! Too harsh.

You know I am a big fan of Derma E- but unfortunately this one is a fail for me. Yes, I have used it up, but only because I am a stingy person lol! 💵 This does not lather at all, and it also does not get my skin clean. I noticed that when I washed my face with this cleanser and used a cotton pad with a toner afterwards, that all my gunk and makeup was still on my skin. That is why I used this cleanser in the morning in the shower (since I had no makeup anymore on my face). But overall this is a fail for me. 😟

3. Eldivine Retinol Serum

I used this every night on my hands to slow down the aging of my hands! Though I did not see a major improvement, I will continue to use a Retinol serum on my hands. This one was affordable and I enjoyed it- but it seems they are out of business. Will purchase another affordable brand for my hands. 😏

4. goPure Hyaluronic Acid Serum with Vitamin C & E, Green Tea

I love to use a Hyaluronic Acid Serum on my face! It plumps up the skin cells and this one was great! Hyaluronic acid holds up to 1000x its own weight in water, making this ingredient a hydrating powerhouse, and should be a staple in every day skin care.

I recently seem to get through a tube faster than ever. However, I cannot live without this topical silicone filler anymore. I use it every single day. Read here what I do with this.

This is Korean Skin Care at its best. I absolutely love this nourishing and gentle skin care routine! Read my complete review here!

Here are my body care product empties:

This body lotion goes on silky-never greasy-and swiftly replenishes moisture to dry elbows, knees, and feet. This lotion combines fresh bergamot, mandarin, rose, jasmine, peach, strawberry, and soft musk & amber base note. Smells very sexy but also very strong if you don't like heavy scents. I totally love it! 💖

Though it was moisturizing beautifully, I wasn't the biggest fan of the scent. It was smelling like lime- but somehow like a strange artificial lime (I actually like citrus scents but not this one).

This hydrating bubble bath is enriched with Shea Butter and white clay to provide rich moisture. Really loved the fresh scent- even my husband is a fan! Definitely a winner in our bathroom! 🛁

I received this last year from a friend as a birthday gift and I have to say: I love the clean scent and how gentle and hydrating this body wash is!

5. Organic to Green Eucalyptus Spray Air

Loved this Eucalyptus spray- the ingredients are totally clean- just essential oil in coconut oil diffused. I spritz a bit at night for a lovely night rest! 🛏

My hair care empties are:

My favorite hair color!!! 👊 I use either Loreal Preference or Agebeautiful- my 2 go-to hair color brands. See here how I do a root-touch up.

2. California Breeze by Lidl Dry Shampoo

Remember how I told you in this post that I won't be buying Batiste dry shampoo anymore? But I am back at buying a dry shampoo for a fantastic price! I found this dry shampoo that is a total dupe to Batiste at Lidl for an amazing $2.99!!! Huge fan and have already repurchased!

I've used this twice- here and here and the result is really not bad. The application can be messy but overall a fun way to try out a new hair color for a day or two.

And lastly here are 3 makeup items that I used up!

I absolutely love this foundation- every cushion foundation I have ever tried looks always so beautiful and natural on my skin because the consistency is so super thin. However, after a couple weeks I am always so germophobic and scared that the cushion catches bacteria. I have basically not used this completely up out of fear that it is dirty! Sad about this!

My all-time favorite mascara- I received this travel size at this Influencer meet in Atlanta and it is empty now. Of course I have already repurchased a big tube.

I have a hate/love relationship to this one. I mean: it is just a lip balm and I really love it! It is super hydrating and feels very comforting. But I find $25 for a lip balm is just too expensive!!! Hate the price!
