60s YELLOW CUT CREASE MAKEUP LOOK

It´s time for you to get impressed! Because I am already! ;-) You might not have heard about MUD Make-up designory cosmetics yet- but you definitely should! This is yet another brand that I have met at Cosmoprof (read here about it) and I am glad, I did! Why? Keep on reading! ;-)

MUD Make-up designory Cosmetics is of course a cruelty free brand. MUD began as a makeup school in a two-classroom, 800 square-foot location in Toluca Lake, California, offering courses in beauty make-up, character make-up and special make-up effects. MUD is constantly expanding its reach with locations from Asia to Europe and are bringing their vision of excellence in make-up education to the world! And so it´s no wonder, they had the genius idea to produce their own makeup line- literally tested by makeup professionals!

And I will tell you what: NEVER EVER have I used eyeshadows, that are so lushly rich pigmented! Imagine all the brands that I have tried by now (Tarte, Too Faced, Urban Decay, the list goes on and on...), but they are absolutely not en par with MUD! Imagine just dipping softly on the eyeshadow to reveal super intense colors on your eyes- just a couple swipes and your done! This saves time and product! And they are so wonderful easy blend-able- just a pure dream. The only color that felt a little dusty was "Daisy"- the yellow to gold color. Just tap off the brush on this one before applying and you are good to go.

The unique velvet consistency allows these shadows to glide on smoothly and evenly – wet or dry. Mix and match to create an amazing variety of new colors and looks – from natural to dramatic. Go wet for more intense, long-lasting color or to use as eyeliner.

I received 7 eyeshadows, a blush and a face powder that have a little magnet on the backside and the (empty) Universal palette that includes also a mirror.

Here are the swatches of the colors! And please check out "Firebrick"! My absolute favorite color here! A vibrant orange eye color with gold flecks! YES please! (click on picture for enlarged image).

And because such great eyeshadows deserve more than 1 look, I created 3 makeup looks! ;-)

Makeup look 1:

I used Cajun Spice on my lid, Firebrick in my crease and outer-V as well as under my lower lash-line. I also deepened up the outer V with Sedona and I used Luster in my tear-duct and under my eye-brows.

Makeup look 2:

Daisy- the yellow color inspired me to do a 60s makeup look. I just had to! ;-) So, Daisy all over my lid it is, and a double winged eyeliner! ;-)

Makeup look 3:

Deco- the gorgeous turquoise color is here the main color used- I used in on my lower lash-line as well as super softly in my outer V and even more subtle in my crease. I then smudged the color out with lots of Cajun Spice. Luster is all over my lid as well as under my eye-brows. I deepend up the outer V with a little Sedona.

Hm, I think I overdid the eyeliner a bit? ;-)

Did I mention that each eyeshadow retails for $8? That is amazing, you girls (and boys). That magnetic Universal palette retails for $20.
