HOW TO GET GLOWING SKIN IN 10 MINUTES!

This is what the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal mask promises: glowing skin in only 10 minutes! As an avid reader, you know, how much I love products that contain Glycolic Acid, right? So, how good is this mask by REN and will it really deliver glowing skin in only 10 minutes? Keep on reading to find out! ;-)

First things first: yes, REN is a cruelty free brand! YAY!

So, what is so special about the mask, you ask? Not only does it contain my beloved Glycolic Acid, no it contains a whole cocktail of AHAs! (Alpha Hydroxy Acids): including glycolic acid from pineapple, lactic acid from passion fruit, citric acid from lemon, and tartaric acid from grape!

Ingredients:

Water, Polysorbate 60, Glycerin, Lecithin, Lactic Acid, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Seed Oil, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Xanthan Gum, Maltodextrin, Sodium Lactate, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Passiflora Quadrangularis Fruit Extract, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Alcohol Denat., Fragrance*, Phenoxyethanol, Limonene, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract, Tocopherol, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Linalool, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Oil, Citral, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Bisulfite.

Why are acids so important in your anti-aging skin care routine? They exfoliate by gently dissolving dead skin cells and supporting natural collagen production and they literally lift dead skin which can improve skintone, texture, firmness, and radiance. They can even minimize the appearance of pores and reducing sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and old acne scars. Yes, you heard that all right and yes, you need it in your life- at least if you are above 35. ;-)

Me with the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask on my face (and neck!)

Also: the consistency is quite different than your regular mask: it´s a gel-like (almost slimy) orange liquid with a slight fruity scent.

Apply a generous amount on your face and neck (don´t forget that neck, ladies! I am experiencing first hand the annoying aging of my neck!), leave it on for 10 minutes and then you wash it off with the dampened cloth (enclosed in the box) and rinse it off with water.

I personally did not experience any discomfort (I don´t have sensitive skin), but like with any product that contains acids, you might feel some tingling with it.

And? Is my skin glowing? Decide for yourself! Here is my face- right after using the mask!

My (naked) skin after about 3 treatments with the REN Glycolic Lactic Mask

And, what do you think?

My experience:

I have to say: I am really liking the results! And it gets better: the more often I use it, the better the results get! I use it now once a week since 3 weeks and I find my skin feels super soft, and yes: I would say there is some glow to it.

The enclosed cloth though... it isn´t my favorite: it is very thin and feels flimsy and I rather use my own! ;-)
