RODIAL BEE VENOM SKIN CARE REVIEW

I was just amazed in this post by some wonderful products from the U.K. based luxurious brand Rodial and happy to tell you today more about some new goodies! Give it up to Rodial to plump up your skin with bee venom, get rid of your hangover with super acids and magically erase flaws with their skin tint!

Rodial skin tint ($45)

This is a great foundation that gives me a gorgeous canvas to work with. You can use a tiny amount to achieve a light coverage, but it is definitely build-able to a medium coverage. It looks very natural. LOVE that it contains an SPF of 20 and amino-peptides to brighten and enhance my skin tone! The foundation is letting my skin breath and feels very comfortable to wear.

Here is a before and after photo, where you can see, that it covered most of my redness and other problem areas. I say: pretty good!

It comes in only 4 shades and I have swatches of the 3 darker ones for you. I am wearing the "Hamptons" which is a light to medium with yellow undertones and matches my skin very good. So unfortunately the color selection isn't really big.

Rodial instaglam compact deluxe translucent HD powder ($57)

Ha! You gotta love the name: INSTAGLAM! So now we have the perfect powder to finish up your makeup and post some selfies on Insta, or what? Yes, we do! I love translucent powders- they are undetectable and give me the perfect finish and get rid of the unwanted shine on my oily t-zone. This one comes in a stunning heavy silver case with black leather on the lid! Trés chic!

Rodial liquid liner

Have you mastered that winged eyeliner? Or are you like me: desperate to get any help you can! And on top you have hooded eyes? Yep, that's me! But the Rodial felt tip liner makes it a little easier! It is not too liquid, so you don't create a total mess, just like a little marker! Turned out not too bad- what do you think?

Wing it with the Rodial liquid liner!

And here is my completed makeup look wearing the Rodial skin tint, the Rodial instaglam powder and the Rodial liquid liner!

Rodial bee venom day cream ($150)

This is a heavenly delicious smelling (something citrusy I would say!) moisturizer that contains SPF 30! Gives me glowy, hydrated skin and sun protection! Yay to that! It contains some fabulous anti aging ingredients like melittin peptide bee venom (supposed to plump and firm!), soy isoflavones that should help improve elasticity, stem cells to improve the appearance of the skin tone, my beloved vitamin c (gets rid of uneven skin tone) and juvinity to hydrate your skin. Awesome stuff, if you can afford it!

Rodial SUPER ACIDS x-treme hangover mask ($56)

Hm, that sounded intriguing! Could at first not make out ,what this is supposed to do, as we usually have either a moisturizing or a cleansing mask- this one is different! You apply it on the skin and it will melt into your skin- no greasy feeling included! The consistency surprised me, as it felt not like a cream, but not like a clay mask that gets hard either. It just becomes within minutes one with your skin. After 5 minutes you can gently rub the rest into your skin or wash it off with warm water.

And then I knew what this mask is doing: it wakes up the skin- gets it simply glowy, plump and fresh! Just like the name suggests: after a long night (with a couple drinks too many, hm?), you might want to pop in an Aspirin and after you wake up- get those SUPER ACIDS (it includes hexapeptide glycolic, fruit acid and probiotics) working! ;-)

Rodial is available on Amazon or Nordstrom.
