JANE IREDALE MY STEPPES MAKEUP KIT REVIEW

I really wanted to try something by Jane Iredale (yes, cruelty free!) and the Jane Iredale My Steppes Makeup Kit screamed my name. Yes, I admit: the rose golden packaging just really got me! But I also thought, how cute these little "steps" are! It includes 2 lip glosses, a bronzer and a blush! 

If put together this is a sweet little "tower" that fit´s easily in any makeup bag. It also includes a little mirror.

The bronzer works great for my medium colored skin but I can imagine it might be a little too dark if you are really fair (they offer this makeup kit also with "cool colors"). It is matte, no glitter and maybe just a hint orange. The blush has a little too much glitter for my taste- too bad because I really love the peachy color.

Both glosses apply very nice. They are not sticky and have no taste at all. One looks very natural with a hint of glitter and the other is more coral and if you layer it, it can be a real bright coral. I would not stick my finger into the pan to not get bacteria in there and always use a lip brush (I like this lip liner which has a great lip brush on one side) which makes it maybe a little more complicated "on the go" then I would like to.

Overall this is really cute makeup kit for on the go or traveling- or maybe a great stocking stuffer?
