Pop Beauty pouty pop crayon review

Today I have a review of some pouty pop crayons by Pop Beauty for you.

First the good news: Pop Beauty is cruelty free (find a fabulous list of brands that don´t do animal testing here). I tried 3 colors.

Rose Romance is a nude, a bit chalky looking color. I think this color is hard to pull off. Although it applies somewhat creamy I find the result patchy and it´s accentuating all my fine lines. The color also tends to collect in the inside of my mouth- eow!

Barely Bitten is also a nude color but with warm peachy undertones. The consistency is creamy but still accentuates very much all my lip lines and applies also patchy. Yes, the color also tends to collect in the inside of my mouth.

Fuchsia Flirt is a very bright neon pink color. This one accentuates even more all my lip lines. Not very flattering for aging lips! I like a pink lip but I am not the biggest fan of the neon undertones this one has. The color feels a little 90s but the biggest problem is how uneven it looks.

My verdict: I am happy I got these lip crayons ON SALE at Ross for under $10. I am not happy with them. Although they apply creamy- they all go on very patchy and accentuate all my lip lines. Something about the consistency seems simply off for me- they are not long lasting and I feel like they are drying out my lips.

I can not recommend them- especially not for $10 a pop! Completely overpriced for this quality.

Have you tried these yet?
