These Gym Exercises Changed My Body at 49!


Let's be honest: the weight room in the gym can feel intimidating- especially at my age (49). But I am here to tell you: don’t feel intimidated! Really, nobody cares! I felt at first very insecure -as if everybody is watching me -but after a while you don’t care anymore- especially once you feel familiar with your machines. 

I bought a headset and listen to music- so it blocks everyone out and I am in my zone. I really don’t think anybody has ever watched me doing my workouts or anything. Remember: everybody is in the gym to work on their own body- if it is for aesthetic reasons or health reasons. It does not matter how old you are. People are generally focused on themselves. So stop worrying! 

To clarify, I also go 3x a week to a class called Bodypump by Les Mills (a barbell workout) and I already get my biceps, triceps and also my abs workout in that- but after that class I hit the machine room.
