medicube Age-R Derma Shot Review: this might be the face device you have been waiting for & GIVEAWAY!

I tried a brand new facial beauty device and I’m blown away! The Medicube Age-R Device is an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) device that helps to improve facial contours and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by gently massaging and stimulating sub-dermal muscles using medium-frequency-energy. And girl! Does this make your muscles twitch or what?! I’ve never experienced anything like this… and I’ve tried countless beauty devices already!

The core of skin elasticity lies in the muscles below the skin’s surface. Mid-frequency energy currents can help massage and stimulate inactive muscles in the skin, which supports skin elasticity. EMS utilizes electrical currents of reverse polarity to stimulate inner muscles and help them relax & contract. Stimulating and massaging the inner muscles directly will help strengthen them, which ultimately help improve skin elasticity and reduce sagging skin. It is like waking-up old skin cells to do their job again!

The Medicube Age-R Device has 3 modes- each mode from Level 1 to Level 4.

Slim: Stimulates facial skin and helps with slimming the face.

Up: Stimulates the sub-dermal muscles to help improve elasticity.

Body: Helps the muscles to contract and relax to improve the appearance of the body’s contours.

How do you use the Medicube Age-R Device?

Step 1: After cleansing your face, apply the Booster Gel directly on the roller heads (you really need a conduction gel for the full effect! Without the booster gel, the device can not deeply penetrate your skin)

Step 2: Turn on the device and choose your personal mode (I currently use Mode “Slim” on Level 3)

Step 3: Apply the device to the desired area and massage in UPWARD DIRECTION for 10 minutes. (I start on my jawline, proceed to my nasolabial folds, cheeks, crows feet to my temples and forehead. But I am also using it on my neck- avoiding the thyroid area.)

Step 4. No need to wash the gel off- simply pat leftover gel in to your skin to get absorbed.

Attention:
Avoid using around the eyes or around the Adam's apple.
Avoid using on the armpits and the chest area.
Remove all metal accessories and jewelry.

My experience:

Once you get the hang of it, it is really easy to use! Play around with the different modes and levels to see, which one you are most comfortable (but not too comfortable lol) with. It is not painful (like some at-home laser tools that I have tried before), but it is a feeling, you have to get used to, because this device relaxes your muscles and stimulates them and your muscles will twitch!

It is a very unique feeling and it definitely felt funny for a while. At the same time I thought immediately: this device is so crazy powerful that it is able to do that! I am using this device only since 2 weeks, but I have to say: I already feel tighter and firmer on some areas (like my jawline!)

Don’t just take my word for it though! Cassandra Bankson, a medical esthetician explains on YouTube how this device will help to lift your neck!

I’m also amazed by the DEEP LINE, a skin care line by medicube, specifically made for aging skin: loaded with Vitamin C and Peptides!

The Deep Vita C Serum contains 13.5% pure Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) but also Alpha bisabolol. This is great for an even skin tone and to get rid of brown spots on your skin. I love how this serum comes in 3 little bottles to make sure the Vitamin C stays super fresh! No other company has ever thought of this! Very smart! The consistency is very interesting and different from other Vitamin C serums that I’ve tried. It feels very silky and smooth and during the day (it is still hot and humid here in Georgia) I do not feel the need to apply a moisturizer on top of this.

The Deep Vita C Cream contains 6.5% Vitamin C (for an even skin tone), Vitamin Q (provides skin elasticity!)  and Vitamin P (protects collagen and elastin!). This is a unique blend of a powerful vitamin cocktail for your skin. It feels very moisturizing and my skin is drinking this up!

The Deep Reviving Peptide Eye cream contains powerful Peptides (Acetyl Hexapeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Acetyl Dipeptide-1, Cetyl Ester Acetyl Octapeptide-3) to tighten your delicate eye area. It also contains Niacinamide to brighten the under-eye area! I absolutely love the consistency of this eye cream: it is super moisturizing but absolutely not greasy and it works great under concealer too. It feels very silky and smooth- but it is still not thin like a lotion. It has a balmy consistency, yet it is not oily or slick.

The Deep Collagen Vita Multi Serum Stick is a rejuvenating and luminizing balm you can put everywhere you like to improve skin elasticity or hyperpigmentation (think maybe smile lines, crow's feet, and neck lines!) It contains 15% Vitamin C and a Triple Collagen Complex (hydrolyzed collagen, water-soluble collagen, atelocollagen). Works also as a very natural looking highlighter on the high points of your cheeks for a radiant look.

Little tip: If I apply too much concealer under my eyes and it looks a bit cakey, a little swipe of this stick and it looks better within 2 seconds!

The Deep Vita C Patch: with Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), Niacinamide and Glutathione these patches are great for spot treatments of dark spot to brighten and even out your skin tone. The little patches have 149 little micro points to deeply penetrate your skin. Apply these at night for best results!
