LIPSTICK SPRING CLEAN OUT!

I just cleaned out all my old nail polishes and today it is time to clean out all those old lipsticks (or colors that I don't wear anymore) out of my collection! Just like Mary Kendo always says "if it does not spark joy, get rid of it!"

Here are the lipsticks I got rid of:

Wet n Wild lipsticks- these are old and have got to go. They are discontinued but they have been reformulated with new packaging. "Mauve outta here" used to be my favorite color- super long lasting too. Anyone remember the 903C? Tati used to recommend it and that is why I bought it. I admit: I barely ever wore it. These felt always very drying.

Here is a bunch of miscellaneous drugstore lipsticks I got rid of: City Color, Catrice, P2 (what happened to P2? They used to be available at Ulta? I actually asked my friend in Germany to send me these, because Tati recommended them- lol I guess Tati used to influence me a lot), Essence in Natural Beauty, Milani (tastes yummy like watermelon but I don't like the color anymore), BH Cosmetics, Mia Mariu (discontinued), Nyx in "Minimalism" (this used to be my favorite color years ago).

These Pixi lipsticks are super long lasting, but they can feel a bit drying. Loved wearing them and they probably would be great right now,😷 as they don't transfer easily- however, they are old and smell strange. The lip balms have colors that don't suit me. I keep one in the right shade (see further below).

So many fun colors by Sleek Makeup- another brand I can't seem to find at Ulta anymore? What happened? The lipsticks are old and have got to go (but I still keep my favorite shade!).

I used to be a big fan of Bite Beauty! Loved their lip crayons and Amuse Bouche lipsticks- they were always so pigmented. None of these exist anymore and I need to get rid of them.

Studio Gear Liquid Lipsticks- simply old: they have got to go!

Same with the Ecco Bella lip glosses and lip balms- they are old. I am not a big lip gloss fan and barely ever wore these. However, they are super pigmented if you are into lip glosses!

More miscellaneous lippies: Milani liquid lipstick (these are great and smell like Vanilla but this one is old), Jordana liquid lipstick, Laritzy liquid lipsticks (can't say anything about them as I don't remember ever using them and now they have gotten old), Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick (these are fantastic long wearing but can feel very drying) and a Bellapierre lipgloss (again: I am not a lipgloss fan).

Ellis Faas used to be available at Ulta too- what a fantastic bullet shaped tube! You know the deal: they are old (however I keep my fave shade lol), 2 Ulta lipsticks (with metallic sheen- no longer my thing), butter London lip crayons (these are great: great color payoff and moisturizing on the lips but I do not love the colors anymore), Colorpop Lippi stix- not my color, 2 Lancome lipsticks (both are super dark purple- not my colors).

The Emani lipstick was not my color, the Arbonne lipstick is old (tasted so yummy like strawberry), the BareMinerals lipstick in Flash is not my color- too orange!)

Lipsticks that I am keeping (they spark joy!!!!) 💫

I keep all my Pixi liquid lipsticks (get them at Target!) because I love them! One of my favorite liquid lipsticks for sure! Super long lasting and not too drying. I also keep the Shea Butter Lip Balm in Sweet Peach.
