I have today for you the best concealer for women over 40 (or mature skin). Major concern of us grown-ass women? Probably: dry skin, fine or deep lines where the concealer settles and creases... yuck! So without further ado, here are the concealers that I find work best for me and my old tired eyes and hopefully yours too! ;-)

1. Tarte Creaseless Undereye Concealer ($26)

New packaging with the old classic product! This is a full coverage concealer that will cover up EVERYTHING you need to cover up! No matter how dark your under-eye circles or how long you partied (do you still do that lol), this will be your savior.

Please notice though: this concealer will not just be "creaseless" by itself. As the consistency is super heavy and thick, please apply only the tiniest dab of product- I find it works best with a super thin brush (I wish they would´ve kept the old tube packaging). But then set it with a very light dust of your favorite setting powder (here is a cheaper dupe) with this brush. Without setting this heavy- almost greasy- concealer, you probably won´t be happy as it will crease from my experience.

Good to know: this concealer contains also Vitamin C and E!

2. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer (Travel size is only $10, full size $24)

Honestly, I bought the travel size more than a year ago and I haven´t been able to finish it. I highly recommend to just buy the travel size as the product- similar to the Tarte Creaseless Undereye concealer- is a very thick and heavy concealer where you really don´t need much product of it.

This is a high coverage concealer that I also like to apply with a very thin makeup brush- apply only where needed and only the tiniest amount. You also need to set this with a light dust of powder (or cheaper dupe) otherwise it will look very shiny. Fantastic concealer!

Good to know: this contains hydro-collagen, vitamins C and K!

3. Bareminerals Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer ($21)

Don´t let the thin consistency fool you! This is a high coverage concealer that will apply a little easier than my choices 1. and 2. as you just swipe the doe applicator on the areas that need coverage and then pat it in with your finger. This concealer is also very hydrating and I am truly amazed by the natural look it offers. Yes, you still need to set this with a light dust of powder (cheap dupe) to achieve a creaseless look (well let´s say to minimize the creases- I don´t think you can totally avoid it.)

Good to know: this is formulated with antioxidant Lilac Plant Stem Cells.

4. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30) (or get the mini version at Sephora for $13 to try!!!)

I love this concealer for an everyday easy peasy makeup look- it applies fast and easy- it is neither too thick, nor too thin- just right. The coverage is probably medium. I find that it sets by itself and I don´t really use a powder on top. If I don´t have much time to hassle around with my face, this one is a no-brainer! If you have very dry skin under your eyes, this one might be not your best pick!

Good to know: this is loaded with magnolia bark extract, grape seed extract, and vitamin E.

5. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer ($29)

This concealer is build-able- no matter if you only need a light cover up or have to cover really dark under-eyes. Just apply as many layers as you need. I find the result very natural looking and also that it sets pretty much itself after 1-2 minutes- so I don´t apply an extra setting powder. But very dry skin better stay away!

Good to know: it contains also Matrixyl 3000!

6. Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush concealer ($20)

I absolutely love this concealer- even though I don´t like the jar-packaging as I find it a bit unhygienic. This concealer looks super natural and undetectable- however it isn´t really made for very dark circles. The coverage is light to medium and this won´t make you happy if you really need to cover up some major "projects" lol. I don´t have very dark under-eye circles and love to use this concealer on a daily basis. I just dab it on with my finger-  the result never disappoints me and it is such a fast step! It does not let my under-eyes appear dry but feels silky and smooth. The result: flawless, undetectable and natural!

7. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector ($13.99)

My only drugstore recommendation here that I happen to really love. The little brush applicator makes it easy to apply and the consistency is like a foundation. The coverage is medium. This sets by itself after 1-2 minutes- no setting powder needed. BUT: it can get a little dry, so if you have severe dry under-eyes, skip this one. I like to use this on hot summer days where my skin isn´t too dry. I would  not use this during winter.

Good to know: it contains SPF 25, Vitamin E, wild chamomile and soy!

So there you have my best concealer for women over 40! Got another favorite to share? Do tell!
