CHEAP SKIN CARE ROUTINE THAT WORKS!

Not everybody can afford expensive skin care brands, but it has always been my opinion that a good skin care routine does not have to be expensive. The ingredients are important! So today I have a super cheap skin care routine for you, that simply works- this should be working for any skin type too- no matter if you have oily, combination (me!), normal or dry skin! ;-)

Cheap Morning skin care routine:

Step 1:

Cleanse your face with the Noxzema Ultimate Clear. Not only acne-prone or oily skin can use this cleanser! This is a rich lathering formula that gets every-bodies skin pore-deep clean!

Step 2:

Moisturize and protect your face with the Palmer's Eventone Suncare with SPF 50. I hope you know that the sun is still our worst enemy and daily sunscreen is best practice to protect it! This one contains an SPF of 50 and natural shea butter and coconut oil to moisturize, as well as Vitamin E to nourish our skin! Who cares that this is made for babies? If it is good to use for a baby, then it sure as hell is OK to use for us too!

If you have oily skin, then this might be too heavy though, I recommend the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch with SPF 55 instead! My favorite non-greasy sunscreen that also works well under makeup! ;-)

Cheap evening skin care routine:

Step 1:

Cleanse your face with the Pond's cold cream cleanser. Many of us wear makeup during the day, so I think it is best to use a cleanser at night that can get rid of that and does not strip the skin from its natural oils. Unlike ordinary cleansers, Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser is actually 50% moisturizer. It deep cleanses and removes dirt and makeup, even stubborn waterproof mascara, while moisturizing - all in one easy routine. A old time classic cleanser even our grandma used already!

Step 2:

Tone your face with Dickinson's Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel is a 100% natural toner that cleanses deep down to your pores, refreshes and conditions your skin without removing essential moisture. No artificial fragrances or dyes.

Step 3:

Moisturize your face with the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. This lotion contains oatmeal, which is clinically shown to help moisturize and relieve dryness. It makes your skin softer, smoother, healthier-looking. It is fragrance-free, non- greasy, non-comedogenic, and gentle enough for daily use. I don't care it says it is for use during the day- it works just as good at night (plus during the day it is better to use SPF anyway!)

There you have it! This totals to $18.01 for the complete AM and PM skin care routine! This is a cheap skin care routine- but gives your skin everything it needs!

Now, pick it all up at Walmart and save some money! ;-)

BTW: the cheapest exfoliator is .... your towel! Really! Just use a (not too soft) towel after your shower and rub it all over your face. I even burned one time a little part of my forehead like this, cause I was rubbing too hard- so if you do it with the right pressure, it is a great way to exfoliate your skin- totally for free! ;-)
