Nicole Kidman inspired Makeup look!

I am a huge fan of Nicole Kidman! Did you know that she is 50 years old? But it doesn´t matter what her age is, she sure is a stunning woman with porcelain skin and legs to the moon. I loved her recent makeup look (and her stunning dress too) at the Emmy Awards so much, that I wanted to know which makeup products she used!

Turns out that Nicole is a big fan of Neutrogena and her makeup artist Angela Levin actually used Neutrogena for this look! I have never tried Neutrogena makeup before, so I was really curious, how it performs, because the price range of these products is really affordable!

Neutrogena created 4 celebrity-inspired holiday looks and I tried (of course) the makeup look of Nicole Kidman with a classic red lip! You might have seen it already on my Instagram, but here it is:

And what do you know?

The Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear eye shadow with built-in primer (the built-in primer saves really time) performs outstanding! I absolutely love the shades in the "Classic Nude" palette: a peach with sheen, a matte beige (cancels out any veins on your lid, genius!), a medium grey with a slight sheen and a matte dark grey. All are highly pigmented and you only need a tiny dab into this goodness-palette with your brush. Highly recommend! Great price too! ($9.99)

And the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush in Rosy? Such a pretty and natural looking peachy tone with a slight sheen (so subtle, you barely notice the sheen, but it gives this soft hue of a glow!). I absolutely love it and- just like the eyeshadows- this blush is super pigmented and a tiny bit will go a loooong way! Only $8.99? Grab it!!!

I am already an old time fan of the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup (as you can see here!) which contains Vitamin E, Natural Soy and Feverfew Extract along with Broad Spectrum SPF 20 to visibly improve luminosity, tone and texture over time for healthier looking skin. It has this very light and thin consistency- super "liquid-y", you know what I mean? However the coverage is just wonderful! $13.99

A medium (but buildable to full) coverage. I like to use just a tiny drop for my whole face- enough for a light to medium coverage and then I just use one of the amazing concealers for the areas that need more attention- such as my weird red chin (why is it so red? Dunno!) and my under-eye area and that big pimple on my forehead that doesn´t want to leave! Is it time yet to give him a name? No, we are not friends yet- hopefully he leaves soon! $14.59

The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector is an amazing click pen concealer that covers beautifully my dark under eyes and also contains an SPF of 25 to avoid aging through the damaging sun-rays. $13.99

But I am also loving the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer that contains this hydrating core that - especially right now in the cold winter air- is really helpful to keep the moisture in the skin, while covering up what needs to be. The non-greasy, lightweight formula glides onto skin providing silky-smooth, natural-looking coverage. $12.99

The Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara has a classic wand- I really love those and I am not exactly a fan of theses new silicone wands the new mascaras all feature. Contrary to the name of the product I don´t see much volume improvement, but instead I find that this mascara provides amazing lengthening! It feels also super comfortable on my eyes and stays on all day without any smudging. Only $8.99! Nice!

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Shine is a non- sticky lip gloss that feels hydrating, but the color applies a bit blotchy and uneven in my opinion. No detectable scent. I actually am a little in doubt, if Nicole Kidman used this one for her look as presented in the sketch. Her lips seem of a deeper red tone with orange under-tones, but the gloss is a deep wine tone that is sheer.  $8.99

My verdict: I am a new fan of Neutrogena Makeup! Affordable quality makeup!
