By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara Review with Before/After
Here´s something new I wanted to show you today: the By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush, a mascara that includes an innovative "Two-Step Twist" custom-brush system! I have never seen such a mascara before and I am guessing you have never either! Let me show you! ;-)
How does this work? The secret is in the cap: Simply turn the cap according to the desired result!
Let me show you position 1: The lengthened brush is made to stretch lashes.
Position 1- clearly labelled on the cap, so you won´t get confused! ;-) |
Position 1: the lengthening wand! |
And here comes position 2: The twisted brush thickens lashes for ultimate volume without clumping.
Position 2 for extra volume! |
There! If you twist the wand into position, a spiral wand is formed! |
But wait! There is more: the By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara is enriched with natural protective oils (jojoba, olive and avocado) to nourish your lashes and its extra-workable texture may be stretched out and touched-up to create any look without smudging or flaking.
Let me show you, how the effect of the different positions look like on my lashes! On the picture below I am wearing the mascara in the position 2 (for volume) on my left eye and the position 1 (for length) on my right eye.
I think you can clearly see, that the lengthening effect is definitely there on the right eye, while my left eye lashes are just thicker.
Personally I like the lengthening effect (so using the mascara without twisting the wand) better, but that is probably personal preference, as I have very hooded eyes and need to "open them up" with a lengthening mascara. Maybe you need more the volume, then the twist might do the trick.
I also have to say, that I am loving how wet the formula is and how pitch black the color is. While I -most of the times with other mascaras- feel like I have to at least apply a second layer, I don´t see the need with the By Terry Lash-Expert Brush at all! One layer and my lashes look deep black and most importantly super long!
But hey: if you need volume AND length, why not apply 2 layers: one with and one without the "twist" ?
Love this mascara, even though I am not planing on using the twist! ;-)
