Ole Henriksen Truth Serum | Clean Truth | Transforming Walnut Scrub Review

I have tried 3 products from Ole Henriksen: The Truth Serum, The Clean Truth and the Transforming Walnut Scrub and will tell you today, which ones were a hit, and which one I personally thought was a miss! ;-)

The Clean Truth ($30) is a self foaming cleanser that contains African red tea extract, Vitamin C,  carrot seed, orange and grapefruit peel oils and also pumpkin fruit and chamomile extracts. This cleanser is full of natural antioxidants! Why is that good? Because antioxidants can reverse the first signs of aging of our skin! Here is to hopes! ;-)

This is a frothy cleansing foam that creates a rich lather to gently remove makeup, oil, and impurities without stripping our skin of essential moisture. This face wash feels refreshing with a light orange scent. I think anybody can use this, no matter if you have dry, normal or oily skin. Due to the scent maybe sensitive skin should skip it. Overall for me personally (I have combination to oily skin): a hit! ;-)

The Transforming Walnut Scrub ($28) is a two-in-one, lightly foaming scrub that exfoliates and cleanses to purify your pores. Formulated with a blend of walnut powder, ginseng, and chamomile extracts. Though it smells nice, fresh and clean, I do have a complaint: the  scrubbing particles feel pretty chunky and very abrasive to me and honestly I am scared to hurt my skin! I do love me a good scrub, I really do! But this one is simply too rough and I don´t even have sensitive skin. For me this is a miss! :-(

The Truth Serum ($48) is like a daily multivitamin for the skin! It contains the True-C Complex (I guess that is Ole´s own creation hehe, basically it is a Vitamin C serum), collagen, orange and green tea extracts. This fast-absorbing, oil-free formula applies easy and fast. I love the sweet, energizing citrus scent and silky texture as it glides beautifully on my skin. The result? It feels hydrating, rejuvenating and refreshing! Definitely a hit!

also pictured: a Cosmopolitan magazine from September 1942! Fun fact: the price was back then 35 cents! :-)
