PUT A LITTLE EGG UNDER YOUR EYES!

Eggs? Eww! Why? Well: Eggs contain lutein, Zeaxanthin and especially Vitamin A!!! Lutein boosts the skin´s natural antioxidants and can increase skin hydration and skin elasticity. Zeaxanthin is a natural antioxidant that promotes radiant healthy skin- and Vitamin A? You know that Retinol is just another form of Vitamin A, right? Vitamin A is one of the most important anti aging ingredients in your skin care!

Egg white has been shown to reduce dark circles and puffiness around the eye. But if it grosses you out to break that egg and apply the egg white directly on your skin (or you don´t have enough time to do so every morning), I have good news for you: Freerange Skincare created an eye serum that contains egg white! And they even go one step further: they use eggs from free range hens! These contain an astounding 252 mcg of Lutein and Zeaxanthin- and of course our beloved Vitamin A.

You might be scared how this serum smells ,but I have more good news: it actually smells like cucumber - of course cause it also contains cucumbers and also calming aloe vera. You gotta have to love a short uncomplicated ingredient list these days: It´s all natural formula contains also free range egg white, hyaluronic acid (plumps up your skin cells for a diminished look of fine lines!) and glycerin.

The serum has a light gel- like consistency. I wish it would be easier to get just a tiny pump out of the dispenser, as I find it always dispenses a little too much product- but I just use the leftovers on the back of my hands. Hey, what´s good under my aging eyes can´t be bad on my (also aging) hands, right?

The Freerange Aloe & Cucumber Eye Serum is a convenient way to apply the good ingredients of egg white on your eyes and retails for $18.95. Proceeds will also fund a rehabilitation shelter for battery hens!
