CIATÉ LONDON The Fun Eyeshadow Palette Review & 5 Makeup looks
No fun in your life? Then you need the new CIATÉ LONDON The Fun Eyeshadow Palette to spice it up! ;-) I am having so much fun with this palette since 2 weeks. I get all creative with it and created so many different looks! I absolutely adore it! Usually I tend to gravitate to more natural colors on my eyes but this one attracted me so very much.
It includes 4 matte colors and 5 shimmery colors. They all are so super creamy and I did not experience any fallout. I love that it includes a matte light brown color that is perfect for the crease- this way I don´t need to add another palette. I love if a palette contains everything I need! You have a light matte color but also a shimmery light color that you can use under your brow bone or in the tear area - and simply: so much fun colors!
Watch it also on YouTube!
I created 5 makeup looks with it- but the sky is the limit! So many options you could do! I am especially in love with the bronze color (2nd row right color in the palette).
I had one tiny issue with the palette: I have VERY oily eyelids (and yes I used of course an eye primer- I tried it with the Elf eye primer, the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and with the Urban Decay primer potion- always with the same result) and after around 4 hours the shadows started to crease into my lids. The eyeshadows are so super creamy that they are not lasting a whole day on me....
still! For $35 I think the Ciaté Fun Palette is one of my most fun palettes for sure!
I also wanted to mention, how gorgeous the Olivia Palermo x Ciate Cheekbone Cheat Blusher in Seaside Park is! It includes a matte bronzer and a coral blush that look oh so pretty (look at the stunning packaging!) and it smells divine!
Unfortunately I had a little accident with this beautiful guy :-( |
I also tried a Ciaté liquid Velvet Matte lipstick in the color "Risqué" (as you saw yesterday). The creamy consistency reminded me a little on the Nyx Liquid suede- however it was not feeling drying. I have the feeling with liquid lipsticks you have to either way decide to get hat dry feeling but therefore it is long wearing- or it is not drying, but therefore not long wearing because it will transfer.
And the Ciaté liquid lipstick does not feel drying, is super creamy and pigmented- but it will transfer onto your cup and food and husband´s cheeks...or whoever you kiss or put your lips on.
