Ion Color Brilliance Permanent Creme Review (10A Lightest Ash Blonde)

You guys! I´m so happy! I found my new favorite hair dye: Ion Color Brilliance Permanent Creme ( in the color 10A -Lightest Ash Blonde). You might know that I struggled finding a cruelty free hair color option to achieve blonde hair without brassiness (as you can see here). I tried to get rid of the orange tones with purple shampoo (as you can read here) but had no luck.

Until recently I did not even know, that the Ion brand (sold at Sally Beauty Supply!) is a cruelty free brand! YAY! Off did I go to my little store. Girl, that lady that worked there knew her stuff! Amazeballs! She recommended the Ion Color Brilliance Permanent Creme  in 10A (Lightest Ash Blonde) to me to get rid of the yellow/orange tones in my hair.

Other then your typical drugstore hair box, you need to buy your developer separate and they offer different options- but have no fear in asking the employees. I was amazed by the knowledge of the staff! Prices are great- the color was only $5.49 and the developer only $1.99- plus the developer bottle is enough for 2 applications- so that saves again money. If you get the Sally Beauty membership (I think it´s $10 a year) then the prices will drop even more.

The only thing that I completely forgot, was that there weren´t gloves included- so next time I make sure to get those as well. I still had a brush and simply used a glass bowl from my kitchen to mix the color.

To my review: this is a great creamy consistency, doesn´t drip or stink. And most importantly: I FREAKING LOVE THE RESULT!!! No brassiness finally! YAY to Sally Beauty Supply! Many thanks girls!

I also got me a bottle of the Ion Keratin Smoothing Conditioner and it is fabulous- my hair get´s super silky with this! I will try now much more from Ion for sure.

Have a great weekend you all!
