Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Body Collection Review

I have tried a whole arrange of body care products of the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus line and will share today my experience with you. Shea Moisture has a whole arrange of products from hair care to skin care with a huge selection of different scents (for example: Argan Oil & Raw Shea, Lavender & Orchid, Lemongrass & Ginger, Olive & Green Tea, Patchouli & Red Tea, and many more).

The story behind She Moisture is really lovely: She Moisture was founded in 1912 by Sofi Tucker who by age 19, as a widowed mother of 4, sold Shea Butter and African Black Soap country wide. To this day the philosophy is still the same: Shea Moisture only uses the purest most natural ingredients:

"We leave out all the potentially harmful ingredients that you shouldn't put on your skin."

(No Parabens, No Phtalates, No Paraffin, No Formaldehyde, No Propylene Glycol, No Mineral Oil, No Synthetic Fragrance, No Synthetic Fragrance or Color). The ingredients come all from Fair Trade. Shea Moisture is also cruelty free!

Let me start with the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hand & Body Scrub. ($9.99)

Oh what a wonderful Scrub! The smell is out of this world! I feel like in a spa on Hawaii! I feel like I can smell not only Coconut but also Pineapple- which is probably the Hibiscus in it. I almost want to eat this! ;-)

This is a beautiufl scrub for your body and feels super soft. It exfoliates but at the same time is moisturizing.  The scent also lingers for hours and does not diminish that quickly.

Afterwards I used the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Body Lotion. ($9.99)

Another wonderful product. Again: the smell is out of this world. I love it so much. If you love fruity and exotic smells- this is it. I smell: summer, dancing, being happy! Yes- all in there! I promise!

The Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Body Mist comes in a spray bottle. ($8.99)

The bottle sprays a super fine mist of the oil- the oil does not feel greasy, yet is so hydrating and gives my super tanned summer skin a fantastic healthy shine. And did I mention the smell? he he! Yes- the same wonderful exotic smell.

The Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus She Butter Soap is almost too pretty to use! ($3.99)

I have to tell you: my whole bathroom smells like a fresh sweet coconut- or like Pina colada! ;-) I really love how the inscription Shea Moisture makes the soap look like. I find it looks so elegant like in an expensive hotel!

I also tried the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Facial Wash & Scrub. ($9.99)

Everything I tried from the Coconut & Hibiscus line had this fantastic exotic smell going on which I really LOVE- except the facial wash! I don´t understand why, but the facial wash has an intense smell that I disliked...when I read the ingredients and saw "Songyi Mushroom" in it I thought I knew why this smells different- but then I saw that the other products also contained this, so it did not make sense to me.

I have to say it cleansed my face squeaky clean- no complains about that- but I somehow could not get off the smell. I also do not think that you can call this a scrub as their is barely anything in it to have an exfoliating effect. This is the only product I am not so happy about.

I tried also the Shea Moisture Lemongrass & Ginger Body Scrub. ($9.99)

And girl does this smell fantastic? If you love citrus scent then this is it. Citrus scents are one of my favorites and this feels empowering and wakes me up. Gorgeous! The scrub feels hydrating and super soft. Just beautiful.

If you love the body care products from "The Body Shop" you should give Shea Moisture a try. I promise you: you won´t regret it.  For half the price you get products that smell even better and are completely natural!

Have you ever tried any products from Shea Moisture? Well, if not: you really should! :-)

 Have a great day,
Sissi
