Mia Mariu Mineral Foundation, Concealer and Primer Review + Giveaway

am very excited to share with you my experience with some products from Mia Mariu! I really love the philosophy of Mia Mariu:

Let´s start with the claims of the  
Mia Mariu Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation Primer ($20):

"The Perfecting Finish Mineral Primer creates a smooth facial canvas allowing the foundation to glide on seamlessly, leaving a fresh natural look that lasts all day.  Our Mineral Primer is power packed with antioxidants and vitamins to give your skin a healthy glow.  Your skin will love you for it!  Oil free."

To my experience: truly this is a primer like I have never used before. This is not a silicone paste that does not let your skin breath but rather a very lotion like beautiful moisturizing- yet not greasy formula. It feels light- weight and fresh and does absorb very quick. This is the perfect way to prepare your skin for the foundation.

Here are the claims of the
Mia Mariu Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation ($25):

"Our Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundations come in three formulas:  Liquid, Cream and Loose Powder.  They deliver oil-free, luminous all day coverage while providing the benefits of natural minerals and vitamins.  Each Mineral Foundation reduces the appearance of pores to obtain a perfectly matched radiant tone.  Enjoy a flawless all day refined finish!"

I chose the color "Vanilla" for my foundation. This is a full coverage foundation. I find it works best to use a flat Kabuki brush and really "swirl" the foundation into my skin in "circling motions".

The coverage is fantastic- the foundation does not move around- even after hours of wearing. It also leaves my face looking matte- which I really love because I have an oily face. I almost do not need any concealer on top of that!

Mia Mariu Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer ($16):

"Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer is an oil-free, vitamin packed, high intensity formula that effectively covers imperfections like dark spots, discoloration and blemishes for a perfect and even tone.  The Mineral Cream Concealer is perfectly balanced to match your skin tone without leaving ash tones or a chalky look. "

The concealer looks like a cream but is very light weight and you can layer the product fantastic and use only as much as you need. I honestly have to say that I almost did not need any concealer at all anymore after the foundation already covered any unevenness on my face!

I find that this concealer also works great under my eyes- usually I find a cream concealer to heavy for use under my eyes- but this concealer really is not feeling heavy and not greasy at all. It is very smooth and easy to work with.

Mia Mariu also let me try their Microdermabrasion Set ($55) which I found very lovely! You mix a Refinisher Cream (a very thick paste) and  a Thermal Activator (a clear liquid) in your palms and that will create some heat! Now with this mixture you can gently rub your face with. This was really an spa like experience! Loved it! It also smells very nice!

I can highly recommend Mia Mariu and am very happy to found such a fantastic brand!
