If you are looking for an affordable makeup brand that is cruelty free, the Ulta store brand is always a great option! I already reviewed Ulta lipsticks, Ulta eye liners, many Ulta foundations & primers and in the beginning of the year I had a GIANT ULTA GIVEAWAY that you guys loved so much that I decided to do another one for you!
And today I like to review the Ulta Sculpting Palette in the color "Muse" (2 more color options are available) and the Ulta Complete Eye Palette in the color "New Wave" (7 more color options available!).
Ulta has their own brand constantly on SALE (right now they have a "Buy 2 get 1 free" Sale going on!). I have also a 20% coupon banner below all my posts!
Let´s start with the Ulta Sculpting Palette in "Muse" which contains a matte bronzer, a coral blush and a highlighter.
The packaging is not exactly elegant but it is sturdy and does it´s job. At first I thought it is not very convenient that the separate colors don´t have their own pans but this palette is actually so big that you won´t really have a problem mixing up two colors- even if you use a real big face brush.
These colors really spoke to me and I love them! All 3 colors apply even and are not powdery. The bronzer is looking absolutely natural- for my medium toned skin it works beautiful. It´s matte, has no glitter or shimmer and does not look orange or muddy! Great! The coral blush is super gorgeous! The highlighter has a bit shimmer and looks very natural.
What I love extremely about this palette is, how natural these colors go on. And you can´t over do it- no matter how much you apply- oh well the blush you could over do in fact as it is really pigmented.
This palette earns 5 Schmusies for sure! Pick it up at your local Ulta.
The Ulta Complete Eye Palette in "Wave" contains 5 gorgeous colors. 2 are matte, 3 are shimmery.
I love that this eye palette has a bit of neutral colors yet also some nice pops of color. The color in the middle is a perfect champagne color to open up your eyes! It applies very smooth Both of the turquoise colors are great to use on your lower lash line (one is lighter and the other darker). The purple colors are great to use in your crease but the darker purple goes on a little muddy and blotchy.
These colors have no fall out but the lighter turquoise color (top on pic below) is a little powdery.
4.5 Schmusies from me! Get it at your local Ulta!
