While for some of you spring just arrived: I already switched completely to the summer mood and created a fresh summery happy makeup look. Well, it´s hot down here in Florida and we are going already too the beach- so no wonder!
I´m wearing Catnip by Anastasia Beverly Hills (a soft plum) on my lips. Why did they choose the name catnip? Does not make sense to me- thank God it is not green! Who thought of catnip for a soft plum? Maybe catnap would have been cuter lol.
It goes on with names that don´t make sense: On my face I wear the color: Annapurna (in case you didn´t know: Annapurna is a collection of mountains in the Himalayas) from the new Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint- well again I am thankful it is not snow white like the Himalaya- but it turns out Annapurna (which is supposed to be a medium color!) is super tan- wayyy too tan for my skin. Don´t ask me how I managed to get it look alright, because I don´t honestly know.

I surely skipped today the bronzer of my beloved Tarte Rainforest After Dark Palette- therefore I dug in a little deeper into the highlighter!
A better name choice for the name Annapurna (again: the Himalaya is snow-white!) would have been: Grand Canyon because it also has quite a bunch of orange tones. I think I will have to bring this one back and get a much lighter color. Other then that I do really like the consistency. I would say it is somewhat of a light to medium coverage, feels very silky and yes: really looks quite matte on my super oily skin.
