LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt Nourishing Balm-to-Oil Review

Today I have a review of the LXMI pure nilotica melt nourishing balm-to-oil for you. I especially want to tell you also about the wonderful massaging tool that comes with it. I absolutely love to use it on my swollen eyes in the morning! Why? Come and find out! ;-)

LXMI is a cruelty free brand, founded by Leila Janah, that also helps Ugandan women, paying them three times local wages for each harvest of the ingredients of LXMI products! Love that!

Product Claims:

This overnight facial treatment intensively hydrates skin with just a single, rare, cold-pressed miracle ingredient from the Nile Valley. Made of only 100 percent organic Nilotica Reserve—LXMI's proprietary active—this luxurious Balm-to-Oil skin savior melts upon application to soften skin's texture and brighten the complexion. Perfect for adventurous travel, harsh weather conditions, and after skin peeling treatments, and to soothe the symptoms of eczema and sensitivity, this buttery formula offers over 25 percent more essential fatty acids versus traditional beauty oils for an even, plump-looking, and comfortable complexion.

Ingredients:

100% Organic Nilotica Reserve Nuts, 100% Organic Butyrospermum Parkii Butter.

That's it! Could not be more natural and simple!

My experience:

I live in Florida and it is soo hot here already! Summer hasn't even started yet, and we are already in our 90s! My LXMI package arrived carefully and lovely packaged in an ice-pack and including chocolate- but even though it was packed in an ice-pack, the LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt was completely molten into an oil. I decided to put it in the fridge, to get the consistency back to a balm, and within an hour it did: the oil turned back into a thick balm as you can see below.

As I told you before: I am absolutely loving the little spatula that you get with the LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt! One one side it has a little spoon to scoop out some balm, and on the other side it has this metal-ball that feels so wonderful cooling and massaging around my eyes! I absolutely love this little tool and use it every morning on my super swollen eyes! It feels calming and de-puffing and so nicely refreshing on my eyes! I massage with it all around my eyes.

You could use the balm all over your face and neck, if you need a heavy moisturizer, or you use it just like me, only around your eyes. The balm immediately turns into an oil when applying. It will be somewhat greasy at first, but within minutes your skin will "drink" it up and look very hydrated.

I love this little tool! ;-)

The LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt contains no added fragrances and is therefore also suitable for ladies with sensitive skin. It smells very "natural", if you understand what I mean by that?

The Nilotica Reserve Nuts contain naturally Vitamin A and E! That's great!

My verdict:

I recommend the LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt especially for ladies that suffer from very dry skin, or suffer from eczema, also for very sensitive skin, or if you live in (or travel to) a very cold or drying climate (Kilimanjaro anybody?) and need a really good, heavy moisturizer to protect your skin! Also: if you have very dry skin on your hands and nothing helps, this balm will surely get your hands back on track!

With $48 this is not exactly affordable, but the jar will also last a long time, since you don't need much product! ;-)

You can get LXMI at Sephora!
