YSL Touché Éclat All-Over Brightening Concealer Pen Dupes!

I actually wrote a very similar post 2 years ago (which you can read here)- but back then I wasn´t cruelty free and so I was once again on the hunt to find me a dupe for my beloved YSL Touche Eclat that is not only more affordable- but also without animal testing involved!

The YSL Touche Eclat is an eye brightening illuminizing pen that erases signs of aging and gives me this "awake" feeling and look. It is however not a heavy concealer, so if you suffer from dark under eyes, this is not "it".

The YSL Touche Eclat retails for $42, 0.1 oz and comes now in 10 different colors.

Here are the results!

Place 5
Laura Geller Eyelight, $11.50, 0.12oz, 1 color (discontinued)

This is truly no dupe at all. The color is pinkish shimmery and a total fail under my eyes. This will settle into fine lines and look patchy. The applicator does not work very well and dispenses product on the sites instead of on the tip of the brush. I find it only good for us as a highlighter on my cheekbones.

Place 4
Wet n Wild Illumi-naughty, $4.99, 0.05oz, 3 colors

This is a brand new product by Wet n Wild but no dupe to the YSL Touche Eclat either. It is a very heavy concealer that gets quickly cakey under my eyes. The product never seems to really dry but instead settles into all the lines I got. The applicator is a hot mess. No matter how soft I try to twist a little bit product out, it comes always out shooting at me- so much product comes out and I don´t know where to put it to because a little goes a long way. The lid looks always messy because of that- no matter how hard I try to keep it clean. However: this is a great concealer for breakouts on other parts of my face- just please: NOT under my eyes!

Place 3
Milani HD Advanced Concealer, $4.45, 0.045oz, 4 colors

The packaging truly reminds strongly on the YSL Touche Eclat and this one is the only dupe in this post that also is a click pen (all others are twist pens). I chose the color "medium beige" which unfortunately is wayyy to tan for me- it almost looks like a bronze foundation! It applies nice, offers great coverage and I can recommend it. If I would´ve chosen maybe the lightest color, it would´ve probably provided me more of an eye-brightening effect- not really possible with such a dark color.

Place 2
Eddie Funkhouser Luxlight Illuminator, $11.99, 0.05oz, 2 colors

Until recently this was my favorite dupe. It truly is eye brightening and has an light reflecting effect- a super light weight smooth formula that dries matte and looks undetectable- just like the YSL Touche Eclat. It has a hint of a peachy color which is very similar to the Color No 3 of the YSL.  Recommend this one!

Place 1
Catrice Re-Touch Light Reflecting Concealer, $5.99, 0.05oz, 3 colors (discontinued)

My new favorite dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat! It dries matte and is super eye brightening and light reflecting. Work it in fast because it dries quick! This one offers an even better coverage then the YSL. I used the color light beige which is very light and perfect for my medium skin tone. I can not even believe it is only $5.99. It will settle into fine lines after a couple hours- but you know what? The YSL Touche Eclat does that too! ;-)

There you got it! I got my new dupe for only $5.99!
