Labello Pearly Shine vs. Maybelline Baby Lips Peach

I always keep a lip balm in my purse and these are my 2 favorite lip balms and so I decided to do a quick comparison between them: Labello Pearly Shine vs. Maybelline Baby Lips Peach. The funny thing is that they look a lot like each other if you see these close-ups!

Let´s compare Labello Pearly Shine with Maybelline Baby Lips Peach!

The Labello Pearly Shine has a bit of a bubblegum taste and offers some nice shimmer, my lips get nice and shiny with a hint of glitter. I find the color just a tiny bit too light.

 On the left is Labello- on the right is Maybelline.

The Maybelline Baby Lips in peach hast a beautiful fruity peach taste. It gives my lips a perfect natural shine with just a hint of a beautiful color.

I really like both of them but if I had to choose I would go for the Maybelline Baby Lips in peach. This one is just right. The only thing both are missing is a good SPF. I really think this should be included in all our lip balms.

I do not like lip butters in a jar because I think this is not very hygienic. These can always get easily bacterias in because you use it with your finger. Bacterias can quickly spread in there so that really would scare me. Your lips are very sensitive and of course we do not want to spread bacterias on them (or on anything in that matter!).

The same is also true for creams- a jar is never a good choice. It is almost impossible to use a jar without getting some bacterias in there. It is always better to buy cosmetic in tubes. The packaging should also never be clear because light can destroy the ingredients in products (for example if there is antioxidants in a clear jar they are probably already destroyed from the light and you can not benefit from them)- so try to buy cosmetics and make-up products always in tubes which are not clear (clear jars are the worst!).
